We are excited to announce that after a very thorough search, the Activities Committee is pleased to announce that Nick Arno will be joining us as Activities Director this summer.
Nick comes to us from the Yarmouth School system (as, of course, did departing AD Ginny Kern!) where he works with special education students. Nick also has extensive experience working with kids in a variety of recreational settings, ranging from summer programs to sports leagues. Nick grew up in Windham, Maine and attended St. Joseph's College of Maine where he played 4 years of college baseball. He worked for the Portland Recreation Department supervising after school recreation sites and was co-director for middle school and elementary age summer programs. Nick stays very active and currently plays softball and baseball. Nick and his wife Karen (who works for Maine Audobon) have a lab name Rupert. Welcome to Ocean Point Nick, we are excited to have you!
